KLW Tree Service started the way a lot of good things do — with a father and son who knew how to work hard and decided to build something of their own.
James King founded KLW Tree Service with a straightforward idea: show up when you say you will, do the job right, charge a fair price, and leave the property cleaner than you found it. No games, no runaround, no surprises on the invoice. After years of working in the tree care industry, James saw too many homeowners getting burned by companies that overpromised and underdelivered. He knew he could do better — so he did.
William King grew up around the work. What started as helping his dad on jobs turned into a real skill set — climbing, rigging, running a crew, reading a tree’s structure before making the first cut. Today, William leads the crew in the field as KLW’s head climber, bringing the kind of hands-on expertise that only comes from years of doing the work day in and day out.
Together, they’ve built KLW Tree Service into a trusted name across Jacksonville, Tyler, and the surrounding East Texas communities. The “KLW” in the name stands for the family itself “Kings Love Works — and that family reputation is something they protect on every single job.

James founded KLW Tree Service and oversees every project from estimate to cleanup. He handles consultations, job planning, and makes sure every customer gets an honest assessment and a fair price. When James gives you a quote, that’s the price — no surprises.
William leads the crew on every job site. As KLW’s head climber and rigging specialist, he’s the one in the tree making the cuts. His hands-on field experience and eye for safety keep the work moving efficiently and every job site secure.
